Noticeboard

Please note that, as from 4 June, when telephoning for a repeat prescription, you will be asked to leave your request on a voicemail.

You will be asked for your name, date of birth, the item(s) you require and the dose.

Please allow 2 working days for the prescription to be ready.

GP Net Earnings

All GP Practices are now required to declare the mean earnings (average pay) for GPs working to deliver GP services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working at Liquorpond Surgery in the last financial year (2016/2017) was £69,480 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 4 full time GPs and 2 part time GPs. No locums worked in the practice for more than six months.

It should, however, be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice. It should not therefore be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.
